The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.


What you will learn and contribute to

APAC Regional Advanced Engineering Software customization team works with business development, product management, and R&D to provide integration, support and professional services to Fixed Networks customers in the AP&J region.

  • Work as RBC top technical expert for OSS/BSS integration and software customized solutions with Nokia FN SDN(SDAN) products
  • Software/script development to address customer specific requirement
  • Provide technical expertise and support for product introduction, testing, integration and customer acceptance test.
  • Lead, plan and organize technical activities involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports, customized documents/presentations for technical activities and clarifications of critical issues.
  • Communicate with project stakeholders, establish a solid relationship with different BG/BU TPMs, PLMs and R&D teams.
  • Complete the project closure and handover as required. Ensures that the project is delivered on time and meets all quality’s KPIs, supporting internal project meetings to ensure all project technical commitments are on track and facilitate information exchange across to the different teams and stakeholders.
  • Providing regular executive and working level status reports to communicate the progress of the project.

Your skills and experience


  • Master's degree in Computer Science/Technology/Network Engineering or equivalent education
  • Experience with scripting languages (ie. Python, Shell, Perl, JavaScript, Tcl)
  • Experience with network management projects
  • Knowledge on NETCONF and Yang data models, SNMP
  • Experienced with Linux, Socket Programming, TCP/IP
  • Familiarity with networking test tools (Spirent Test Center, IPerf, Wireshark, etc)
  • Experience with MariaDB and Mongo DB
  • Strong skills on containerization using Docker, Kubernetes
  • Knowledge on SDN and Open Source projects
  • Knowledge on OpenStack

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience on Linux, Linux Containers, Linux Namespaces, Linux CGroups and large-scale production systems
  • Experience with cloud native architecture, cloud security and cloud patterns
  • Proven ability to work independently; deploying, testing and troubleshooting systems
  • Experience in designing and developing applications using GoLang, Nodejs and Java
  • Experience with Jenkins, GIT, Helm, Ansible
  • Able to learn new technologies quickly
